Jindal Shadeed operations slow in April
Jindal Shadeed reported 106,000 tonnes of steel production and 120,000t of sales in April, Kallanish learns from Indian parent company Jindal Steel & Power (JSPL).
In the fiscal year through March 2020 JSPL’s Oman-based subsidiary saw sales rise 4% on-year to 1.88 million tonnes and output by 9% to 1.87mt. This translates to a monthly average of 157,000t of sales and 156,000t of output, suggesting operational activity slowed in April.
