Jindal Shadeed boosts sales in September quarter

Jindal Shadeed increased steel sales 8% on-year in the second fiscal quarter through September to 400,000 tonnes. Crude steel production was up 9% to 410,000t, according to Indian parent company Jindal Steel & Power (JSPL). The Oman-based steelworks’ Ebita, however, plunged -65% in the quarter to $16 million.
