Jindal starts Oman pelletiser work, adds ferroalloy smelter
Jindal Group is making quick progress on turning Oman into a major steel production hub. Civil piling work is underway for subsidiary Vulcan Pelletizing’s 6 million tonnes/year iron ore pelletising plant expected to commission in Sohar by end-2024. The group also plans a ferroalloys smelter there.
