Jinan begins construction at steel capacity upgrade project
China’s Hebei Wu’an city Jinan Iron & Steel Group has begun construction of the facilities at its new project to add 2.2 million tonnes/year of steel capacity. In building the new capability, the steelmaker is using its replacement capacity quota, it says in the announcement.
