Jimeng Carbon to commission graphite electrode project
Jimeng Carbon, a Zhongze Group subsidiary in Ulanqab City of Inner Mongolia, plans to commission its 40,000 tonnes/year graphite electrode project before the end of 2021, Kallanish notes.
As the second phase of the company's graphite electrode project, Jimeng will produce large-scale (over 600mm) ultra-high power graphite electrodes. The first phase with 80,000 t/y of graphite electrode capacity was commissioned in 2019.
