Jilin Longtan starts coking, electrodes plants construction
Jilin Carbon Company held a groundbreaking ceremony last week for its graphite electrodes project in Jinzhu Industrial Park, Longtan District. The firm has meanwhile started construction of its coking project, Kallanish notes.
Jilin Carbon plans to construct a graphite electrodes plant with a 60,000 tonnes/year capacity. The project anticipates to be commissioned in 2022. Thereafter, graphite electrodes will be sold to Baosteel and Angang, as well…
