Jiangsu pushes relocations for Meigang and Zenith Steel
China's Jiangsu province has announced plans to transform its steel sector and to develop the Yangtze River Economic Zone. Baosteel's Meishan Iron & Steel (Meigang) is expected to remove its steel plant from urban areas, while Zenith Iron & Steel plans to build another steel plant on the coast, Kallanish notes.
