Jiangsu Shengfeng shuts down 60-t EAF
China's Jiangsu Shengfeng Iron & Steel Group shut down one 60-tonne electric arc furnace in early August, according to the Jiangsu Development & Reform Commission. Shengfeng has cut water and electricity supply to the plant, produced photos of the removal and promised that it will never resume production in the future, Kallanish notes.
