Jiangsu Jinling starts needle coke project construction
Jiangsu Jinling Chuanglian New Material held a start-up ceremony and started construction of its needle coke project in Lianyungang city on 22 December, Kallanish notes.
The company planned 100,000 tonnes/year of calcined needle coke capacity and CNY 1.87 billion ($286 million) investment for the whole project. Half of the total capacity – the first phase of the project – is expected to be realised in September 2021.
