Jiangsu Feida revives electric arc furnace
MCC Eastern Jiangsu Heavy Industry under Jiangsu Feida Group has revived its 220-tonne electric arc furnace. This marks the full resumption of operations at the Jiangsu EAF steelmaker, Kallanish notes.
The 220-t EAF introduced technology from Consteel and Tenova to produce over 2.2 million tonnes/year of steel slab. It can produce almost 2m t/y of rolled flats.
