JFE to supply pipe to TAP
Japan’s JFE Steel says it has signed a contract to supply hot rolled coil, plate and UOE welded pipe to the Trans Adriatic Pipeline (TAP) project. The company joins ArcelorMittal and Salzgitter which will supply the pipeline from their European plants, Kallanish notes.
Marubeni Itochu Steel has already signed a deal to supply the pipeline and will deliver JFE’s products to Greek pipe manufacturer Corinth Pipeworks. Delivery of 78,000 tonnes…
