JFE studies hydrogen pipeline materials
Japan's New Energy and Industrial Technology Development Organization (NEDO) accepted a proposal on 17 July to research and develop hydrogen-compatible, earthquake-resistant materials for standardized high-pressure hydrogen pipelines in Japan. This is because Japan has not established national safety standards for underground pipelines carrying hydrogen at high pressures of 1 MPa and above.
