JFE Shoji buys into Tong Don A
Japan’s JFE Shoji, a trading arm of JFE Steel, has said it will buy shares in Vietnamese cold roller and coated sheet producer Ton Dong A to deepen the relationship between the two. Ton Dong A already buys hot rolled coil feedstock from JFE Steel and its expanding capacity means it can be an important supplier both to Vietnam and other Southeast Asian countries, Kallanish notes.
