JFE, Baowu form special bar joint venture
Japan’s JFE Steel and China’s Guangdong Shaoguan Iron and Steel Songshan (SGIS), part of the Baowu group, have agreed to form a special bar joint venture in southern China’s Guangdong province. The venture will focus on supplying special steel bars to the local automotive industry, Kallanish notes.
