Jazeera Steel hikes exports to stem earnings decline
Al Jazeera Steel posted a -10% on-year decline in consolidated steel sales to 102,784 tonnes, with production down -13% to 98,854t, Kallanish learns from the Omani re-roller.
First-quarter revenue was down -10% to OMR 27.75 million ($72.2m), while net profit plunged -80% to OMR 296,972.
