Jazeera shipments rise in 2018 but profit squeezed
Oman-based Al Jazeera’s consolidated sales rose 4% on-year in 2018 to 414,541 tonnes. The merchant bar mill saw sales rise 5% to 220,212t and black pipe deliveries grew 18% to 93,745t. However, galvanized pipe and hollow sections sales fell -10% and -6% respectively to 72,201t and 28,383t.
