Jazeera foresees continued cost pressure, gradual demand rebound
Cost pressure will continue to affect Gulf Cooperation Council steel producers in 2019, with electricity and gas not subsidised to the levels in the past, according to Al Jazeera Steel. Although GCC economies are increasing spending, this will only be felt starting from the second half of 2019, followed by incremental improvement.
