Al Jazeera expects price surge in third quarter
The closure of around 120 million tonnes of Chinese low-quality steelmaking capacity over January-June 2017 is expected to result in a sharp upsurge in steel prices going into the third quarter. This is according to Omani re-roller Al Jazeera Steel which also foresees greater penetration in the Saudi market.
