Japan’s UEX sees profit slump on falling demand
Japanese stainless steelmaker UEX has released its results for the first three quarters of its financial year through March 2021. Its operations were mediocre due to weak demand during the Covid-19 epidemic, but the third fiscal quarter was better than Q1 across all indicators, Kallanish notes.
