Japan’s steel sales soar in May
Japan’s carbon steel sales soared 37.1% year-on-year to some 5.03 million tonnes in May, of which 3.22mt and 1.8mt were sold at home and abroad respectively, Kallanish learns from data released by the Japan Iron & Steel Federation (JISF).
