Japan's iron ore imports fall in June

Japan's iron ore imports continued to fall in June, as crude steel output was lower in the period, reports the Japanese finance ministry. According to official Customs data, Japan imported 6.1 million tonnes of iron ore in June, down -10% month-on-month and -32% year-on-year.
