Japan’s Q1 crude steel output forecast to rise
Japan’s Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry (METI) has released its quarterly industry survey, which forecasts that the country’s crude steel output will rise from the December quarter but remain lower year-on-year, Kallanish notes. The survey is based on interviews with domestic steel manufacturers.
