Japan’s ship export orders plunge in October
Japanese shipbuilders only received ten export orders totalling 217,470 gross tonnes in October, according to data released by the Japan Ship Exporters’ Association.
The tonnage was down 58.3% from September, and also plunged by 80.5% from a year earlier, Kallanish notes.
