Japan’s auto production slumps in August
Japan’s automobile production in August declined significantly month-on-month as summer suppressed factory operations. Although the figure was still higher than a year ago because of improving semiconductor shortages, year-on-year growth of year-to-date output was dragged down a little, Kallanish notes.
