Japanese traders join Myanmar fabrication plant
Japanese trader Okaya and Co. and fabricator Showa Sangyo have agreed to join with local Myanmar manufacturer and trader Bright Hands to set up a new rebar fabrication plant opening in April in Yangon. Imports from China account for almost one third of the domestic rebar market, Kallanish notes.
