Japanese steel trade rebounds in November
Japan saw a slight month-on-month rebound in both imports and exports of iron and steel products in November, Kallanish learns from data released by the Japan Iron & Steel Federation.
Exports rose 3.6% m-o-m to 2.88 million tonnes, and were up 18.3% from November 2020. Year-to-date export volumes thus came to 31.59mt, an increase of 6.8% year-on-year. Growth accelerated from the 5.8% registered after ten months.
