Japanese steel orders remain weak in June
Japanese steelmakers’ orders remained down on-year in June despite a rebound from May, according to data from the Japan Iron & Steel Federation (JISF). Among the major downstream industries, only shipbuilding consumed more steel than in the same period last year.
