Japanese industrial output weakens in June
Japanese industrial production in June dipped -2.6% from May and -0.4% year-on-year, according to the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry (Meti). The ministry’s survey of steelmakers suggests steel demand could improve however in the July-September quarter, Kallanish notes.
