Japanese fraud accusations turn to rolling mill supplier

Japan’s Kubota Corporation has admitted that it has found falsified hardness data for thousands of mill rolls suppliers to steel companies over a five-year period. The new follows months of scandals about fraudulent quality testing which began with major revelations by Kobe Steel, Kallanish notes.
