Japanese steel output to rise in December quarter
A Japanese Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry (METI) industry survey expects to see Japanese crude steel output increase by 9.6% in the October-December quarter from a year earlier. This will be supported by automotive and industrial machinery demand, Kallanish notes.
