Japanese auto production rebounds significantly in September
In September this year, Japanese car manufacturers hiked production after the hot summer, along with domestic sales and exports, according to the latest data from the Japan Automobile Manufacturers Association (JAMA).
September vehicle production came to 757,799 units, hiking 29.7% month-on-month and 76% year-on-year, Kallanish notes. Of that, passenger cars rose fastest among the major vehicle groups, followed by trucks and buses.
