Japan, UAE aid Indian billet export growth
Indian semi-finished product exports, the majority of which were billet, rose 14% on-year in April to 183,656 tonnes, according to Indian commerce ministry data monitored by Kallanish. Their average value, however, fell to $457/tonne versus $510/t in April 2018.
