Japan stainless steel imports increase as exports dip

Over January to November 2016 Japan’s stainless steel exports dipped while the imports increased rapidly, according to Japanese Customs data. In the first eleven months of 2016 Japan imported around 189,726 tonnes of stainless steel, an increase of 20.7% year-on-year.
