Japanese/South Korean first-quarter iron ore imports decline
The impact of the coronavirus outbreak on downstream demand has been impacting upstream steel raw materials demand in the first quarter of 2020. Both Japan and South Korea saw declining imports of iron ore through the quarter, Kallanish notes.
