Turkish rod exports decline despite gaining Benin market
Turkish wire rod exports declined -16% on-year in September to 149,862 tonnes, but increased 4.7% compared to the previous month, according to Turkish Statistical Institute (TUIK) data monitored by Kallanish. Their average price fell to $497.5/tonne in September versus $500/t in August 2019 and $573/t in September 2018.
