Jagdamba Steels orders CR mill from Yogiji Digi
Nepal-based Jagdamba Steels has contracted Yogiji Digi to supply a high-speed 6-high cold rolling mill, galvalume line, colour-coating line, and push-pull pickling line, the Indian technology provider tells Kallanish.
The 150,000 tonnes/year capacity CR mill will roll strip up to 1,250mm wide at a speed of up to 1,200 metres/minute. The unit is designed based on the CR mill Yogiji Digi supplied to Nigeria’s Aarti Steel in 2017.
