Izhstal increases shipments to pre-coronavirus levels
Miner and steelmaker Mechel's stainless steel arm, Izhstal, increased its sales in January, the company says.
The plant sold almost 31,000 tonnes of steel products, up by 13% on-year, Kallanish notes.
The highest growth was in calibrated rolled products and sections sales, by 65% and 80%, respectively. Cold-rolled strip shipments increased 35% and hot-rolled strip by 9%.
