Izhstal first-quarter sales surge
Izhstal saw sales rise over 25% on-year in the first quarter to 113,000 tonnes, driven by a 60% surge in bloom sales and 45% rise in slab sales, Kallanish learns from parent Mechel. In March alone shipments grew 37% on-year, lead by a 39% surge in sections deliveries.
