Izhstal eyes European export increase after audit

Miner and steelmaker Mechel's stainless steel arm, Izhstal, has been recertified for three years for product compliance with European Regulation 305/2011, Kallanish notes. The firm says this will allow it to boost exports to Europe. The audit was carried out by specialists from TUV Rheinland Indastrie Service, who assessed the processes in the electric steel-smelting and rolling shops.
