Izhstal expands high-alloy billet casting
Miner and steelmaker Mechel's stainless steel arm, Izhstal, has developed high-alloy steel grade casting technology at its continuous casting machine, the company says.
The company will thus reduce production costs, increase manufacturability and improve the yield of good metal, it claims.
