Izhstal expands cooperation with Russian automotive industry
Miner and steelmaker Mechel's stainless steel arm Izhstal has begun production of new types of products for Russian carmakers.
In 2021, the production of 10 new steel grades was begun due to orders from large enterprises of the Russian automotive and aviation industries like GAZ Group and UEC Saturn. Among the new products are stainless steel, tool, structural carbon and alloy grades, the company tells Kallanish.
