Izhstal continues to increase shipments
Miner and steelmaker Mechel's stainless steel arm Izhstal increased deliveries in January-November, the company says.
In the first 11 months of the year the plant sold 342,000 tonnes, up by 5% on-year, Kallanish notes.
Sales of hot-rolled steel increased by 5%, calibrated steel by 6% and high-precision steel shaped sections by 75%. The highest growth, of 160%, was demonstrated by shipments of steel with special surface finishing, the enterprise claims.
