Itochu joins Vitrinite in Australian coking coal project
Australian coal developer Vitrinite says it has signed a binding investment agreement with Japan’s Itochu Corporation to jointly develop the Karin coking coal deposit in the Bowen Basin. The pair have still not committed to a timeline for the project however, Kallanish notes.
