Italy’s crude steel production remains firm in July
Italian mills oversaw their second highest monthly output for crude steel this year in July, according to data released by the local steelmakers' association Federacciai, and monitored by Kallanish.
The country produced 2.12 million tonnes of crude steel in July, up 1.8% year-on-year. The output highpoint for 2017 remains at 2.25mt produced by the country in March.
