Italy, Malaysia demand drives up Indian billet exports
Indian semi-finished product exports, the majority of which were billet, increased 21% on-year in September to 267,204 tonnes, rebounding from their August slump, Kallanish learns from Indian commerce ministry provisional data. Their average value was $416/t versus $500/t in September 2018.
