Italy drives Turkey's November hot-rolled flats exports rise
Turkish hot-rolled (HR) flat steel exports rose in November, mainly thanks to a strong growth in shipments to Italy, Kallanish notes from the latest Turkish Statistical Institute (TUIK) data.
November's exports totalled 202,221 tonnes, up 5.7% on-year and 24.7% over October. The overall average value/tonne of these exports increased to $590/tonne from $443/t a year earlier, according to calculations made using TUIK data.
