Italian wire rod to increase again
Italian drawing-quality wire rod mill prices are increasing in December, with contracted prices following, market participants tell Kallanish.
A large Italian producer stopped sales for all its long products, and it is expected to increase its asking values to €590-600/t ($718.93-731.11/t) base ex-works for January contracts. The current hikes are in line with scrap prices and all long increases in the country.
