Italian wire rod prices to increase again
Italian wire rod prices are expected to increase by a further €50/tonne ($54) in April compared to March. Procurement issues continue to plague the sector as buyers compete for material and sellers are only able to allocate limited quantities.
Demand is strong. Wire rod mills and distributors say they have full order books. They are exporting material to other European countries that previously purchased from CIS mills, sources tell Kallanish.
