Italian wire rod prices to hold in June
Italian wire rod prices have remained strong into June, but no further increases are in the pipeline as buyers adapt to the steep May hikes and producers consolidate the increases.
In the third week of May all local wire rod makers increased prices by €100/tonne ($122) on-month, bringing asking values to the level of €800/t ex-works for drawing-quality wire rod.
