Italian wire rod prices stumble on import pressure
Italian wire rod values are seen decreasing on strong import pressure. Material is being offered by foreign producers and traders at significantly-lower-than-domestic prices and some local steelmakers are being forced to decrease asking values by €30/tonne ($35) versus August, Kallanish learns from market sources.
